Features
A whole server, never shared
You get the physical machine: every processor, all the memory and the disks. There is no hypervisor and no neighbours on the same hardware.
Console in your browser
Open a remote console of the server from your browser, even when no operating system is installed. Access goes through the web gateway; the iDRAC management interface itself is never exposed.
Power control
Power the server on, shut it down or reboot it from the console or the API. Each action is recorded in the activity log.
Install an OS from templates
Pick a ready template such as Ubuntu or Debian and the server is installed through virtual media. Installing from your own ISO file is coming soon.
Dedicated public IPv4
Each server has its own public IPv4 address that only you use.
Bandwidth
Follow the inbound and outbound traffic of your server, with monthly totals, right in the console.
Hardware health
See power draw, temperatures, fans and the hardware log of your server.
API and automation
Everything above is also available through the API. API keys can be limited to the Dedicated Server scopes: read, write and console.

Frequently asked questions
No. A Bare Metal server is a physical Dell PowerEdge machine assigned to a single account. There is no hypervisor between you and the hardware.
Open the console from your browser to see the screen and use the keyboard, even before an operating system is installed. Once your operating system is running you can also connect over SSH.
Ready templates for Ubuntu Server and Debian. Windows Server is not in the templates because it needs a licence; contact us if you need it. Installing from your own ISO file is coming soon.
No. For security the iDRAC interface is not exposed to customers. You get the console, power control, sensors and the hardware log through the ONIE console and API instead.
Inbound and outbound traffic of the public IPv4 of your server is measured and shown as charts with monthly totals in your console.
The configurations are listed on this page. A plan with the “Coming soon” label does not accept orders yet, and its price is published when sales open. Contact us to ask about availability.
